I made it!

Hi everybody! I officially made it to Ireland! We arrived this morning, which felt like 3am to us. We got through customs, and all of us got our luggage, so it was an overall success. Then, we took a bus, about an hour ride, to our "hometown" of Derry. We unloaded our bags and got into our dorm rooms. We have a great setup, in that each student gets their own room and bathroom. Then, I caught a quick nap before showering for dinner. The group met outside our student village, and we all walked downtown together. We ate at a very cute bar/restaurant called The Ice Wharf. I got a fish and chips, which were delicious. Then, the group headed down the street to a local pub, where the walls are decorated with old beer advertisements. Our favorite was, "Guinness... It's good for you." We tried to stay out for the live music tonight, but many of us were starting to get very tired, myself included. So, most headed back for the dorms, and that's where I am now! We have a full day of walking tours tomorrow, so I'm headed for bed to get some rest. Good night!
